ATSS was founded in 1992 by a group of physicians and software developers to create unique software coding, auditing and compliance tools for the healthcare industry.

The Company has focused its interest on the following coding guidelines since their inception:

The Evaluation/Management (E/M) Services section of the American Medical Association's (AMA) Physicians' Current Procedural Terminology (CPT)

The AMA and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Documentation Guidelines for Evaluation and Management Services.

Matched to these AMA and CMS definitions, ATSS has developed and continues to enhance the first practical E/M coding software products for both providers and payors. Its Easy E/M Coding family of software products can be used to quickly and accurately generate or validate E/M codes for provider cognitive services.

1.    Continuing changes and increasing complexity of E/M coding guidelines are making it increasingly difficult to quickly and correctly derive or audit E/M codes,

2.    Payor’s are increasing scrutiny of provider reimbursements to meet cost containment objectives, and

3.    Government agencies are imposing financial penalties amounting to treble damages due to improper E/M coding.

The Company is dedicated to the continued development, enhancement and delivery of its E/M coding product line to maintain currency and meet the needs of providers and payors for fast and accurate coding, auditing and compliance solutions.

ATSS is a limited liability company registered in the State of Connecticut under the name ATSS Limited Liability Company. Executive offices are located at 160 Hawley Lane, Suite 202, Trumbull, Connecticut 06611.
